Requirements
- A Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Energy Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of power systems, renewable energy integration, and smart grid concepts.
- Experience with modelling, simulation tools (e.g., Python, MATLAB, OpenDSS), or digital technologies (e.g., machine learning, blockchain) is an advantage.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research on the integration of flexible resources (e.g., demand response, distributed energy resources) into electricity distribution networks.
- Explore the role of digitalisation, including advanced data analytics, IoT, in enabling flexibility and enhancing grid operations.
- Develop and validate models for network planning and operation, considering regulatory, market, and technical aspects.
- Collaborate with industry stakeholders and academic partners to ensure practical applicability of research outcomes.
- Publish research findings in high-impact journals and present results at international conferences.
