A resilient power system is a system able to survive, recover from and adapt to high impact low probability (HILP) events. HILP events include cascading failures, i.e., the propagation of failures within a power system, that lead to usually to major blackouts. This project aims at developing a simplified cascading simulator, where an initial disturbance leads to further disturbances such as overloads. The project also tries to implement mitigation solutions such as re-dispatches.
