The electrification of heavy transportation is a challenge due to high energy and power requirements. This project will assess the current energy needs of trucks based on current traffic databases and evaluate which electric alternatives are expected. The project will use big-data analytics technics to compute truck trajectories and based on expected electric trucks compute the energy and power needs of future fleets.
