Improved provision of primary frequency control by wind generators

Wind generators are technically able to provide primary frequency control. Primary frequency control aims at stabilizing frequency after active power unbalances. Island power system are especially sensitive to active power unbalances. However, a simple proportional primary frequency control in wind generator does not account for speed variations and thus power variations due to the MPPT. This project aims at implementing current solutions as well as a new solution based on the periodic linearization of the power-speed curve around the current operation point.
