Biography:

César completed the double degree in Mathematics and Physics at the Complutense University of Madrid, later completing the Master's Degree in Nanophysics and Advanced Materials at the same university.

In 2018 he began his PhD studies at the Department of Condensed Matter Physics of the Autonomous University of Madrid, obtaining his doctor title in 2023 with his thesis “Proximity effects in epitaxial superconductor/ferromagnet junctions with spin-orbit interaction”.

His main field of research is superconducting spintronics, studying the interaction and proximity effects between magnetic and superconducting materials with the double goal of advancing the knowledge about the collective quantum phenomena present in these materials and designing and developing new non-dissipative computing architectures based on them.

Areas of interest:

Superconductivity, magnetism, nanotechnology, materials physics, quantum materials, quantum computing, thermoelectricity.
