Biography:
David Tercero-Lucas is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at Universidad Pontificia Comillas – ICADE, in Madrid, Spain.
He obtained his Ph.D. in Applied Economics from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona in 2022.
His main research areas include digital currencies (cryptocurrencies, stablecoins, and central bank digital currencies), payment systems, monetary policy, and applied economics. He has conducted research stays at the European Central Bank (ECB), the Bank for International Settlements (BIS), and the Bank of Spain.
His publications have appeared in international academic journals, and his work has been referenced in media outlets such as Financial Times and The Economist.
