Biography:
Andrea Baños graduated in Economics from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (2022), specializing in econometrics, quantitative techniques, and statistical analysis. In 2023, she completed a Master's in Economics at the same institution, focusing on areas such as microeconometrics, advanced mathematics, quantitative techniques, and game theory. Additionally, in June 2024, she earned a Master's in Computational Social Sciences (UC3M), covering numerous topics related to data science, including predictive analysis, machine learning, survey data, data visualization and programming, agent-based simulation models, and data harvesting..
Since May 2024, she has been a predoctoral researcher at the Institute for Research in Technology (IIT) at Universidad Pontificia Comillas.
Experience:
Andrea completed an academic internship at the Bank of Spain (BdE) from January to June 2022 in the Structural Analysis and Microeconomic Studies department, specifically working on the 2021 Financial Competence Survey (FCS). Additionally, between March and May 2024, she interned at Analistas Financieros Internacionales (AFI) in the Applied and Territorial Economics department.
