Biography:
Diana Navarrete is a researcher assistant at the Institute for Research in Technology (IIT) of ICAI School of Engineering at Comillas Pontifical University. Diana obtained the title of Industrial Engineering at the Universidad del Valle (Colombia) and a Master degree in Data Mining and Business Intelligence from the Complutense University of Madrid where she worked as a researcher of the Department of Astrophysics and Earth Sciences applying machine learning models and time series prediction. He has more than 10 years of experience in the financial planning and management consulting area implementing business intelligence and corporate performance management systems.

Machine learning, artificial intelligence, time series, energy market modeling and optimization, electricity and gas market planning.
Experience:
Diana had more than 10 years of experience as senior consultant in design, development and implementation of analytics solutions like cost models, planning and budget models, time series forecasting and machine learning models. As researcher of the Department of Astrophysics and Earth Sciences she worked applying machine learning models to geomagnetic field, the results were presented in the IAGA-India 2021 "Application of Time-series and Machine Learning Techniques for geomagnetic main field forecasting."
