Biography:

Devashish, originally from Dhemaji, India, has an academic background in Mathematics. He completed both his Bachelor's and Master's degrees at the National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) in Bhubaneswar, India. In addition to that, he pursued a second Master's degree in Computational and Applied Mathematics at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.

His expertise lies in mathematical analysis, modelling, and optimization. Currently affiliated with IIT, Devashish is actively engaged in research and consultancy projects. These projects specifically focus on creating tools for modelling and optimising different energy systems. Simultaneously, he is engaged in predicting energy prices and examining the interdependencies among diverse energy systems. The overarching goal of these projects is to contribute to the ongoing efforts to reduce carbon emissions within the energy sector.
