Biography:
Eduardo Alonso obtained the title of Industrial Engineer as well as that of Engineer in Automatic and Industrial Electronics from the Universidad Pontificia Comillas in 2009. After three years working in engineering and promotion of solar plants at Abengoa Solar, he joined the Institute for Research in Technology, where he worked as a Research Assistant in the areas of PLC communication and biomedical instrumentation and obtained a Master’s degree in Engineering Systems Modeling. As a result of his research activity, he became part of Soinde S.L, a company dedicated to distribution of medical equipment, where he held the position of Head of Technical Service and R&D projects. In 2023, he obtained a PhD in Industrial Engineering from the Universidad Pontificia Comillas, and joined the Department of Electronics, Automation, and Communications as a Professor. He is currently part of the Bioengineering area of the IIT.
