Biography:

Kristin Dietrich studied Industrial Engineering and Management at the Technische Universität Dresden (Germany). She realized her doctoral studies at Pontifical University Madrid, Spain focussing on energy systems analysis, mathemetical modeling and the integration of renewable energies using demand response. She dedicated her work also on universal access of energy, recently especially on mathematical decision support systems for electrification planning. Her current research is centred on Sustainable Energy System Planning, Modelling and Optimization of Energy Systems, Universal Access to Energy and Just Transition.
