Biography:
Mahmoud K. Abdelhamid received his B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from the Electrical Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering, Minia University, Egypt in 2019. He was ranked the top one among his classmates (first class with honour). Then, he was nominated as a Teaching Assistant in the same department. Further, he also received his M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from the Electrical Engineering Department, Minia University in 2023. After that, he was nominated as an Assistant Lecturer in the same department.
Currently, he is a Research Assistant at the Institute for Research in Technology (IIT), Comillas Pontifical University.
Areas of interest:
Modeling, control and stability analysis of battery energy storage systems, and their contribution to the stability of low-inertia power systems.
