Biography:
María José Manjón has a law degree from the University of Granada and 18 years of experience in water and renewable energy companies in legal advice and international project management. Specialization in energy contracts and project finance. Dr Manjon is an associated resaercher in ICADE and guest resaerch in IIT – ICAI at the University of Comillas in entrepreneurship and social innovation in energy and energy poverty, she is part of the Chair of Energy and Poverty of the Institute of Technological Research of ICAI. Professor of business models and business strategy at ICADE and law for entrepreneurs at ESCP School of Business. Member of the Andalusian Business Angels Association (AABAN) and WA4Steam.
Her research focus is on entrepreneurship and social innovation, study of networks and communities, sustainable energy policies, energy poverty, sustainability strategies, and transitions. Its objective is to conduct action research to implement social innovation ideas in the energy sector.
