Biography:
Manuel Valdano was born in Córdoba (Argentina) in 1994. He obtained his degree in Mechanical Engineering at Universidad Nacional de Rio Cuarto (Argentina) in 2018. Within this university he participated for 4 years in the Applied Mathematics Group, where he used the unsteady vortex-lattice method to study power generation by pumpingkites. He joined the Instituto de Investigación Tecnológica (IIT) of Universidad Pontifica Comillas in Madrid as a Researcher Assistant in March 2020. His research focuses on the study of the crashworthiness using multi-body and finite element models.
