Biography:
Néstor Rodríguez obtained a bachelor’s degree in Electromechanical Engineering (specialization in electricity) in 2018, and a master’s degree in Industrial Engineering in 2020, both from the Pontifical University of Comillas. He also has a MSc in Smart Grids (2020), which was carried out jointly by the Pontifical University of Comillas and the University of Strathclyde, in Glasgow, Scotland. Before starting as an assistant researcher at the Institute for Research in Technology of the Pontifical University of Comillas, Néstor collaborated, as a student in 2018, in the Observatory of the Electric Vehicle and Sustainable Mobility (associated to the previous institution) and made his final master's thesis in the area of Smart and Digital Grids in a power distribution utility , obtaining the final qualification of Outstanding. His research interests are focused on the smart and sustainable grids, and the replicability and scalability of digital solutions in power grids.
