Biography:
Olga Rico Díez obtained the Telecommunication Technologies and Systems Engineering degree in 2020 and the Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering in 2021 from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. During her years at the university she has coordinated the Global Challenge motor group, has been the student representative of her school (ETSIT) as a NodoODS, and UPM student representative in the decarbonization committee of the rectorate. She has also coordinated the volunteering of the youth climate change summit (COY15), and represented her university at the climate change summit (COP25), which were held in Madrid last 2019. In 2021 she has interned at the Hospital Universitario La Paz, and worked at the Centro Nacional de Investigaciones Oncológicas as part of the Instituto de Salud Carlos III (Madrid). She is currently a trainee researcher in the Intelligent Systems Area of the Institute for Research in Technology (IIT).
