Biography:
Orlando Valarezo obtained a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering at Escuela Superior Politécnica del Litoral of Ecuador. He holds a master’s degree in Power Systems and its Automation from the Shandong University of China and a master’s degree in Computational Engineering and Mathematics from the Universitat Rovira i Virgili of Spain. Orlando works at the Institute for Research in Technology (IIT) in the area of Smart and Sustainable Grids. His research focuses on the Interaction between DSO and third-party flexibility resources in the operation of distribution grids.
