Biography:

Stefanía Gómez Sánchez was born in Bogotá (Colombia) in 1991. She received the degree of Industrial Engineer at the Colombian School of Engineering Julio Garavito (2014), she gained experience in the energy sector, optimization modeling and analytics working as a consultant for two years. She received her Master in Optimization at Metropolitan Autonomous University in Mexico (2018). She worked for the public energy sector in Mexico and Colombia for two years. In February 2020 she joined the Technological Research Institute (IIT) of the Comillas Pontifical University in Madrid as a research assistant in the area of Energy Systems Models where she works in different projects, as well as a PhD student.
