Biography:
Santiago obtained his Bachellor’s degree in Chemichal Engineering from the Rey Juan Carlos University in 2019, and his Master’s degree in Chemichal Engineering from the Autonomous University of Madrid and the Rey Juan Carlos University in 2021. During this time he did internships as a consultant in the innovation financing area at Ayming Consulting and as a research assistant at the Institute of Catalysis and Petrochemicals (CSIC), working in CO2 valorization techniques. Subsequently, he spent four months as a research assistant at the University of Antwerp (Belgium) where he worked on the study of formic acid as a liquid hydrogen carrier. In January 2022, he joined the IIT as Research Assistant in the department of hydrogen studies with the aim of studying the role of this energy vector from a technical, economic and regulatory point of view.
