7th International Conference on the European Energy Market - EEM10, Madrid (Spain). 23-25 June 2010

Summary:

National energy policies have been the driver for the development of windfarms worldwide. As a consequence of said development, new manufactures and technologies have emerged during the last years. With the goal of clearly understanding how each specific policy has influenced the windpower market, both the energy policies and national energy plans of two specific countries have been analyzed. Also the national subsidy policies have been assessed in order to understand their influence on the degree of local development and technological maturity of windpower.
