This course provides power system protection fundamentals. Models of power system components are detailed. In addition, methods to calculate shor6t circuit currents in balanced and unbalanced conditions are detailed.
Research topics:
- Steady-state: Load flows, analysis of power system constraints, optimal load flows, voltage control ancilliary service,short-circuits, protections in transmission and ditribution networks
