Los códigos de red abordan el problema de estabilidad transitoria a través del requisito de huecos de tensión. Los huecos de tensión suponen un desafío para generadores equipados con excitaciones estáticas alimentadas de barras del generador. Los elevadores de excitación pueden contribuir a que los generadores superen los huecos de tensión. Los elevadores de excitación pueden controlarse mediante controles discretos que emplean medidas locales o controles modulados que emplean medidas globales. El objetivo de esta presentación es exponer en las Jornadas Técnicas del Comité Nacional de Cigré España (noviembre, 2016) los resultados presentados en la sesión de Cigré de París de 2016.


English summary:
Grid codes address the transient stability problem through the Fault Ride Through (FRT) capability requirement. The FRT challenges generators equipped with bus fed static excitation systems to remain synchronized to the grid. Excitation Boosters can assist those generators to ride through faults. On-off controls using local measurements and modulated controls using remote measurements can contribute to enhance the transient stability of the system. The purpose of this dissertation was to present in the Technical seminars of the Spanish Committee of Cigré (nov, 2016) the results that were previously presented in the 46th CIGRE Session, Paris, 2016 .
