The main goal of this project is to provide a mouse and graphical tablet control subsystem to an existing system of control and monitorisation of local rail station control systems developed by Dimetronic S.A. The project is divided in two phases: (1) development of a Motif-based Computer Aided Design Tool targeted on the graphical representation of local rail station control systems, developed on a Hewlett Packard series 9000 worksation running unix and Motif 1.2; (2) development of the subroutines wich interpret the mouse and graphic tablet actions form the lowest level upwards on the local rail station control system, this part runs on a VME bus system with double CPU both based on th Motorola 68020 µP.
