The objective of this research project is the specification of the subsystems included in the planning and the real-time traffic management systems. It is focused on the planning, simulation and traffic regulation algorithms and the ATO-trackside (calculation of the timing points to fulfill punctuality and energy efficiency requirements). The specification takes into account the requirements associated with the new ATO over ERTMS (ATOoERTMS)
