The aim of this project is to analyze the power system of the island of Tenerife. Steady-state and dynamic performance analyses are performed. This study takes into account the specific characteristics of the power system of an island. The grid is poorly meshed. In addition, generators are equipped with diesel engines and gas turbines. The impact of wind power generation is also assessed. The power system studies are conducted using a standard power system analysis package.
